Tumanyan Bathhouse Hostel is the first hostel in northern Armenia's stunning Debed Canyon. We took an abandoned Soviet Bathhouse and turned it into a great place to stay, with lots of rooms, a great kitchen and common area downstairs, fast wifi, and lots of things to do in the area. You'll love our location at a crossroads of countless hiking trails, next to a huge sports field, 5 minutes walk from Tumanyan's Town Square, under the shear 300 meter high cliffs of the Debed River Canyon, with a string of ancient monasteries.
Stay at our amazing location, meet other fun travelers, hike, read, play games, hang out at the Flying Samovar cafe, or just meditate for as long as you like, at a very reasonable cost.

Prices
Most booking engines take 20% or more of the booking fee, so we greatly appreciate when you book directly by phone or email. We pass along savings to you when you do! Otherwise, you can book on Hostelworld or Booking.
DIRECT BOOKING PRICES:
10 bed dorm room - 2500 per person (this room is not available in the cold season)
6 bed dorm room - 3000 per person
4 bed dorm room - 3500 per person
private with foyer - 8000 per room (whether 1 or 2 people, the price is the same for the room)
private with foyer and sink - 9000 per room (whether 1 or 2 people, the price is the same for the room)
Towel rental is 500 drams for up to 3 days.
Laundry is 500 drams per 5 kg load to wash.
Locker use is free.

We are located at 4 Kentronakan Poghots in Tumanyan. Better known as the "baghnik" or bathhouse. We're easy to find at the end of the sports field!

NO KIDS or pets: Sorry but due to the nature of the property, we only accept guests aged of 18 and above.
LOCKERS: We have a number of small lockers available for guests, which you need your own padlock in order to use. The 10-bed dorm room has 8 of the small lockers available for guests in that room, and in the hallway of the hostel is a 5 small locker stack for guests of other rooms. All are available on a first-come basis.

Countless trails are woven across the Debed Canyon, and Tumanyan is at the heart of them all. Here are some of the marked trails you can follow.
Tumanyan to Odzun via Kobayr and Horomayri Monasteries (HA)
